Managing Director Aart-Jan de Koning has a technical and commercial background in electronics. He has an extensive track record in the implementation of complex information systems for as well enterprises as for governmental organisations. He worked as general manager, technical project manager and R&D manager. Aart-Jan combines thorough technical knowledge with entrepreneurship and above all passion for innovation. Together with Marc Quakkelaar he founded DoubleSense in 2007.
Senior Business Consultant Ward Koopmans has a background in the area of traffic and transport. His specialty is ITS (intelligent transport systems). He has a broad experience in initiating public-private partnerships in the area of traffic management. In this area he has relevant experience on strategic as wel as on operational level. He joined several EU commissions on traffic related subjects and he was vicepresident of the ERIC federation in Geneva. Ward is currently supporting the project group ITS of the Conference of European Directors of Roads (CEDR) as senior consultant. In his free hours het plays the alt violin in the Bellitoni symphony orchestra.
Senior Business Consultant Leendert Jan Zonneveld has a product and business development background in ICT. He worked for AND International Publishers, ANWB, Xwits and others. Many years of experience in project management, product management and sales/ marketing management. At DoubleSense he is responsible for setting up new product and services in the security and health care market. Leendert Jan joined the DoubleSense-team in 2009.
Marc Quakkelaar has an engineering and commercial background in technical ICT and electronics. He worked for Ericssson in Sweden where he developed a DECT telephone system. Back in The Netherlands he worked as a project manager for Technolution and GTI. In 1999 he became business unit manager at Yacht ICT. In 2001 he founded a embedded IT company. In 2007 he co-founded DoubleSense.
Senior Software Engineer Bas van der Doorn is responsible for software development at DoubleSense.
